Hello Dale,
I hope everything is going well for you. My little dragon I got from you named Oz who I might have to rename him to Moose is getting huge for his age. At 7 1/2 months old he is 19in long and 410 grams and growing still going strong! Does Ninja and or the normal mom have any giant genes in them? Heh...maybe it's his diet of turkish and dubia roaches.
Thanks for such a great pet,
Brian Perkey

Hi Dale!
I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you in a while. School and work have left me little time for the computer, but I have some pictures of Loki and just wanted to update you on his progress. He's about a foot long now and not even four months old, and that's not factoring in the inch of tail he lost a while back when I had to take him to the vet! My friend got a bearded dragon a month before I got him, and he's about double the size of hers. She wants to know if I'm feeding him Miracle Grow or something because he really is turning out to be huge.
His tail has healed nicely and he's officially off the antibiotics, though I still give him the oral calcium supplement. We're still not sure what caused the piece at the end to die, but it fell off and now you can hardly tell he's missing it. He's shed three full times in the month or so that I've had him, and looks like he's going to start another shed too! He's a big boy and eats everything in sight, and just moved onto medium sized crickets a couple of weeks ago. He's also calmed down a lot - we're practicing the "sit on Val's shoulder and don't run away" game. His high score is ten minutes before he sped off.
The pictures I sent you are of him about a week after shedding, so the colors aren't quite as vibrant as they were but still noticeably nice. He has a great personality, great colors, great size, and is generally a great pet. Thanks again! :D

Hi again!
Right after I sent you that e-mail about Loki's progress, I took this picture and compared it to one from when I first brought him home. His growth in just one month is incredible, and I posted this picture on an online reptile forum and got this reply:
"WOW! He is going to be massive, and great color!! OMG! What are you feeding him, Miracle Grow? I think he is as big as Slyder and she is 9 months old. I want him. What breeder did you get him from?"
So I gave her your website. :D Your dragons are really beautiful. Thanks again!

Hi Dale,
It was great finally being able to meet you, your family, and our new family member! Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. We settled on the name Loki for this little guy - named after the trickster god and Giant of Norse / Germanic mythology. Loki was also a shapeshifter who sometimes appeared as a man and sometimes a woman, so the name will work no matter which gender our beardie ends up being. :P
(S)he is so active and really eats like crazy. I just bought 200 small crickets for $10 at a local pet store, and fifty of them are already gone after the first 15-minute feeding period! He (I'll just refer to him as a boy for the purposes of typing :P) is also the most active, healthy looking lizard I've ever held, and I love his personality. He tricked me into thinking he was asleep in my hand, and bolted out the door in an instant. I caught him no problem (I have experience with runaway lizards, haha), but I think he has certainly earned the name Loki. Then I rubbed behind his neck a little bit and he fell asleep for real. He's adorable!
He's also been putting on a show in his new viv while getting acclimated. He's been alternating between arm-waving, head bobbing, beard puffing and running around in circles for about an hour now, but now he's finally settled down and started basking basking like a good boy.
Once again, thank you. I'll definitely contact you if I have any more questions / comments, or just to share some pictures with you. Working with you has been a rewarding experience and I love our new family member. :D

Hey Dale I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful Beardie! This was my first live animal online purchase and it turned out great. I want to thank you for the concern you showed when Hines aka. Houdini's arrival was delayed. The USPS was an hour late in delivering him, but once again thank you for staying in touch until he was home :). He is super active, healthy, and a joy to have around the house. He has amazing color patterns and has a very bright yellow glow :P. His favorite thing to do is to sit on my chest while I watch TV. When he isn't sitting on my chest he is running back and forth on the couch looking for something to get into. Also I want to thank your personal care tips and the very helpful links on your website. He is such a joy its hard only having one! I will highly recommend you to anyone who I know is interested in purchasing a bearded dragon. I have included some pics of Hines Ward in his new home.
